Outline for this course
Introduction
According to research by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, approximately one third of the UK’s working population are ex-offenders, and roughly 100,000 people leave prison each year. Understanding relevant employment law is therefore crucial for any business manager or HR specialist.
Ex-Offenders Legislation provides an overview of the regulations and procedures employers must follow when recruiting, selecting and employing people with a criminal record.
This course will help ensure that a business is compliant with ex-offenders legislation and promote, in turn, a culture of forward-thinking, non-discriminatory practice.
