Introduction
Although big fraud cases only occasionally hits the headlines, it is a serious and surprisingly common threat to all businesses and their profits.
A report by the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) revealed that in 2005, fraud in the UK cost victims at least £12.98 billion - and probably a great deal more.
Fraud Prevention is an easy-to-follow introduction to fraud which will help managers protect their business, people and profits. It explains what fraud is, how to identify the warning signs and the practical steps that can be taken to prevent crime. It will give participants all the skills they need to develop a simple, focused fraud-prevention plan and implement it within their business.
